Clarence Clemons and Bruce Sprinsteen (©1977 Keith Johnson)
Last week Julie and I had the opportunity to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Stree Band in concert. We’ve seen him before, but it has been many years (25 to be exact), so I was worried that he would not live up to my memories. Well, that was not the case. He performed with a level of energy and passion that defies his 61 years of age. I remember the first time I saw him in 1977 (photo). I was amazed at his (and the whole band’s) amazing level of energy. He was an inspiration to me then, and he still is today. How wonderful that someone can do what he loves to do, get paid very well for it, and still do it with so much passion, committment, and love for his work. Thanks for the inspiration Bruce. My photos are better because of you.

We had a fun photo session this morning. It took a while for Camden to warm up to me, but once he was allowed to run around outside and climb on the rocks, we got some great shots! Feel free to visit his gallery and mark your favorites.

It has been a busy holiday weekend of landscaping here at Garden Path Studio. We have put electricity out to our little pond to get the waterfall going. We have had another four tons of rock delivered for additional natural photo settings. At this point we’ve still got a lot of work to do, but for those of you who have photo sessions scheduled for the end of May and the beginning of June, don’t worry, the place will look great!

On Friday, Abbey Coleman was out for her senior portraits. She did a great job and we got some really nice shots. Check out her online gallery and mark your favorites.

We’ve got a new look. Many, many thanks to my designer-daughter Molly who put all of this together for me.
