Tips to make your Portrait Session a huge success

Clothing
We have no limit to clothing changes, however, we do have a time limit of one and a half hours, and you don't want to spend all of your time changing. Plan to bring at least 3 outfits: One dressy outfit for the traditional formal portraits, one casual outfit for the more contemporary outdoor shots, and one special outfit, maybe a sports uniform, etc.

Stuff
Sports Equipment
Musical Instruments
Hobbies
Crafts and artwork you've created
Favorite Books

Pets
Dogs, Cats, Horses, Rocks

Vehicles
Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, ATVs

Friends
Sure, bring along a friend!

For Family Portraits, everyone should wear the same colors. Long pants work better than shorts or skirts because of the casual poses we like to use for family portraits. If you have questions about what to wear for you family portrait please call us for advice.

In our quest to make YOU the focus of the portrait and not your clothing...
-Long sleeves work better than short.
-Solid colors work better than patterns.
-Dark colors work better than light.
-Earth tones coordinate well with outdoor settings.
